Lei Wang is substantially toward realizing her goal of being the first Chinese woman and first Asian American woman to climb the highest summits on seven continents plus reach the two poles, all in time for Beijing Olympics. She just descended from Aconcagua (Chinese New Year's). She skied to the South Pole around Christmas, pulling a huge sled, and was in Antarctica in time to watch the 100k marathon. One woman took 22 hours to complete it. This is Lei's Web site; there are many nice pictures.
