Post 'em up!

I'll start with a panoramic photo of the pool.

I took this Sunday during the women's 50 back. You can't see it at this resolution, but Julie Oplinger's name is on the readout board in the even (righthand) course.

I don't think I can post my iphone pics from Sunday night without death threats! Let's just say some folks, including Ms. Oplinger, cut loose! LOL

Odds are if you were at the meet, there's a photo of you!

Kirk, I was going to call your panoramic picture and raise you a post-race beer :drink: , but then you went all-in (3K pictures?).

Holy cow, Kirk. You've got some fantastic pictures here. Looks like I'm gonna be going thru them all. What a great job.

Just to clarify, those aren't my photos. I guess it's another guy named Kirk. Apparently the guy we saw at the pool every day snapping photos like a mad man ;)

Hey, Jazz Hands, check out day 2 starting at 396. That looks like your smoking fast 50 Free.

I think I will have to take another few days off work just to get through all the photos. What a wonderful way to capture the entire event. Thank you for sharing the link! :notworking:

Michelle, I wouldn't have realized who you were except for your signature:
"I think I shaved your head????"

I think that was one of the best stories of the whole weekend.

I think that was one of the best stories of the whole weekend.

Michelina's first post triggered a cryptic discussion about impressive stretching, and now the second one involves accidental head shaving... ok I'm incredibly lame and wasn't there, now please explain!

Sorry, that's classified. I could tell you but then I'd have to shave your head and use 4 horses to see how flexible you are.

That's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.

Anonymity has its advantages!

You can tell I'm a meet director type person... my first two reactions to that photo were:

* The pace clocks aren't synchronized!
* Only one stroke/turn official at the turn end for backstroke?

* The pace clocks aren't synchronized!

Actually they were. The reason they appear different is this was stitched together from probably five separate photos.

Gotcha. Makes sense. My other thought had been "the pace clocks are _close_... but not exact." I did notice that the two most to the right were the same, and found it strange that if two were synced, why the others wouldn't be. But a stitched photo explains it!

Paul... you crack me up! But how great was that whole turn of events. You cant write that stuff!

I guess I need to post that story on the women's locker room...

I know I have pictures from the Nationals where D and I met and where the "head shaving" occurred... but I have to go to Cali to the parents house to get find them. It might take a few years... but I will find them. D also thinks he has some photos. That would be fantastic!:joker:
