Looks to me like you need to do some announcing during the meet.

Work on your SDK a little more and you'll get 'em on those 50's.

It's LCM, SDK doesn't help much

It's just the concept of losing to Mark 'The Mouth' Gill, TWICE.

At least, you beat him once. Not everyone progresses at the same rate.

I wonder what Mark did to get so fast? When he swam with my team it seemed like we were similar speeds. Then again, I don't remember too many times that he actually got in the pool and worked out then.

Drugs. Gotta be drugs. :thhbbb:

I told Mark that I was swimming 200s and over to avoid racing against him.

He pointed out that some people deliberately swim the same events as he does, to avoid Mark announcing during their swims. :blah:

In terms of cumulative time, YOU BEAT HIM BY 2.97 SECONDS on the 150-50 free fly event. That is one can of whup ass< if you ask me. Are you sure you want to take up tennis? Or work on bragging skills to make this a bit more subtle.

And the answer is......

Heck no. Just busted a 26.52 LCM 50 Free today. Swim felt like crap, I really didn't think I had a great swim until I got out and looked at the board. Saw that most of my heat was showing 26 something. Looked at lane 5. 26.52. That CAN'T be right. Nope, it was right, let out a whoop. So happy to see 26 something for LCM. I knew I could do it, I just wasn't sure if it would happen this year.

That's crazy fast, Paul. It seems like you've gotten a lot faster since SCY nats. Back in the day you were 20.9 SCY, right? I think you can do that or better if you keep this up. No joke.

Way to go, Paul!

Maybe this is a good clue about how long of a taper you need.
