Beginning with the May-June 2003 newsletter, I'd like to start including club news from each team.

You can write about anything that pertains to your club/team. Workouts, social activities, recruiting, swimmer interviews, swim meet results, etc. Please limit yourself to 2 paragraphs of written text or 1 paragraph and 1 picture.

Deadline for the May-June newsletter is May 2. If you have any questions, please drop me a line at cmsasecretary@aol.com

Thanks!

For those of you who attended SC Nationals this past week in Tempe, and while it's still fresh in your minds, could you please send me your favorite quips, quotes, stories, comments, etc. for the newsletter?

I've written down a few I overheard (and Craig has got the best one thus far), but I'd love to fill a few pages with people's experiences and stories in the next newsletter.

You can email me at cmsasecretary@aol.com

Thanks!

Hi Carl, I might be posting a few, but I've got one off the top of my head.

Urban climbs into the stands to meet his friends, and one of them asks: "Mark, where are your pants?" He looks shocked, and races back to the locker room. (He had left his long racing suit hanging, and fortunately he found them later.)

Clowns and Chickens (by Mark Urban)

After finishing a race, rarely do any of us see the dancing clowns on deck….”la la la,” they rarely laugh. “Having Fun?”
For most of us the second we touch the wall, its like that hanging-upside down rubber chicken that captures the ‘out-of-breathe’ feeling many of us encountered in Tempe.

For those of you who get the printed version of the newsletter, there have been numerous "issues" with at the printers. The printed version should be mailed out this week or early next week.
