What you need is some books that deal with younger age group swimming. I don't know any off hand. The workouts here can apply up to a point, but since summer leagues have children younger than 12 years old, some of the workouts don't fit. Summer league events are mainly 50 to 200 yards, maybe in Im or Free, and probably sprint workouts and some distance for the children 12 and above would work. For the children 5 to 10 years old, you may get ideas from workouts from the 50 plus, since they are shorter in yardage and the interverals are easier to make. For the older children especially those in JR or high school, the regular workouts with some modications would do. Also, there are some people on this board that have coached summer league or age group and can help you a lot more.
