I'll be visiting the North Shore of Massachusetts (specifically, Newburyport) in February and wanted to see if anybody knew of a good masters swim group in the area. So far, the closest I've found is Beverly YMCA of the North Shore, which appears to have a masters program of some type (although I can't really find any definitive information from the web site). Anyone have any experience with this group, or know of any others in the area? Thanks in advance!

Hi Salty
You might want to consider going north (not too far!) to Portsmouth NH. Good workouts M,W, Fri with Great Bay. Easy ride up 95

Workout groups also in Dover and Durham.

PS If you are here, there is also a mini meet this Sunday at Phillips Academy Exeter NH. I think deck entries are accepted.

Thanks! This is actually very close to where I will be staying and it looks like the workouts are more organized. I think I may try it out on a Friday if I can convince the husband to make the trip with me. (If there is coffee anywhere near the pool, chances are good!)

Won't be in MA this weekend, but if you are participating in the meet, good luck!

Fridays will be sprint oriented workouts.
PS Thanks for meet good wishes. A few fun 50s to get the sprint parts working.
