I am leading a triathlete open water swim. For experience our members would like to get some unprotected SF Bay water experience. Is there a legal beach or site to initiate such a swim which is safe? any suggestions?

http://www.south-end.org/ is the website for the South End Rowing Club. You can get a day pass at it or at its neighbor, the Dolphin Club, http://www.dolphinclub.org/.
