During freestyle...do you exhale through your nose or your mouth?

I find it awkward just breathing out of my nose so I usually exhale mostly through my nose but let some air out of my mouth as well.

What do you do!?
What is the "correct" way?

I always breathe on the top side, where the air is.

Just don't breathe in through your nose.

Both. The more/faster you can get CO2 out the better.

Both. It's not something I analyze (in the way, for example, I analyze every picometer of stroke). Seems to work out OK.

Interesting... I just wanted to see if there was a "correct" way to breathe.

How many people were tempted, like me, to click "Other" and post "Ears" ?

breathe in -- exhale out -- repeat as needed :bolt:
