The University of Denver is looking to hire a Masters Swimming Head Coach (part-time). DU Recreation's Masters Swim Team is one of the largest Masters swimming programs in Colorado and the region. We are known as the Aquaholics.

Duties/Responsibilities:

∑ Operate a year round training program for the team, to include approximately 15
practices a week
∑ Provide comprehensive and constructive swimming technique feed back to team
members
∑ Maintain the teamís website
∑ Conduct workouts appropriate to all levels of swimming ability
∑ Attend regular staff meetings
∑ Organize team relays for CO State Meet.
∑ Host 1-2 half day meets a year at DU
∑ Work in conjunction with DU staff and assistant coaches on issues that concern the
club as a whole

Qualifications:

The exceptional candidate for this position will:
∑ Possess a passion for the sport of swimming
∑ Have demonstrated leadership in managing, motivating and growing a team/program
∑ Posses excellent interpersonal skills
∑ Have prior coaching/instructional experience
∑ Have experience swimming at the collegiate level or higher
∑ Possess excellent time management and organizational skills
∑ Relate well to people, be accountable, and well organized
∑ Have a college degree
∑ Be familiar with Microsoft Office
∑ Possess current CPR, First Aid (LG certification a plus)
∑ Desire to work in a fun, supportive environment with other aquatic professionals

Hours:
3-10 hr/week*
*Depends on how many coaches you wish to coach on a regular basis.

Compensation:
$23-25hr
