I wonder if any of the "non-approved" suits are now back on the FINA list as of 22 June? If so, does the technical absence of approval during that window of time between the first FINA list and the revised list really mean that these athletes lose the world record? What a shame, if that's the way the rules are interpreted.

As to those records pending due to drug testing, I have no problem there. Parenthetially, I hope the Canadian breaststroker Annamay Pierse has submitted her application. Maybe she's waiting for the next meet, when she'll swim faster? She may be this year's breakout performer, and as others have noted, what a great attitude!
