Hi Oz,
my son and I signed up for a 1Mileswim but that is at Crystal Lake of 11 July At firstI thought that that might have been what you were involved with due to the fact that there are also running and bikings races going on there. But its seems that I am a day early at a different city and county.
How does the tri-athlonwork? I am (I think)okay as a Swimmer, fair as a biker(possibly); as a runner I have two left feet. I could possibly help out with the swimmming or running part.
I have some heritage from Norwegian Vikings who settled in several cites in Ireland. How can I sign up for the "Dragon Ships"or "Dragon Boats"

Hi tom Go to our web page at elginbluewave.com to ask for info about dragon boat races. Many teams need people on race day in St Charles.
A triathlon for teams is fun . Each member does their best sport then tags off to the next member I get to swim then tag off to my buddy the nut case bike rider who after the ride tags off to my wife's trainer the runner & we win !!! OK maybe not that last part !!

You guys have won before and I'm sure you can do it again. Your time in the 1650 was pretty awesome. I'll check the site and see if I can get together with the Elgin Park Distict.
Good Luck at Shaumburg!

OZ Does not hide behind a curtin. HE swims out in front with the skill of a Beowoulf in the Baltic. A champion again. Way to go Oz! Youth is wasted on the Young. Let us see what the 18 years olds do once they pass 21.
We had a nice swim at Crystal Lake yesterday. It had a good turn out. My 18 year old son did alright particulary since he hadn't swam much since Feb. It seems that due to my poor vision and lack of sonar, I landed on a beach a little to the west of the official end point. However, that probably gave me a bit more distance in the 1 mile swim. Next time I'll try the 2 miler The more the merrier!
Congradulations to you and your team.
