David - It is quite possible that Jeremy only checks the forum once a day - so, expecting a response in 4 minutes is optimistic at best.

This will be an official University hiring, so we are going through all the official steps to do this.

I am a member of the team's Coaching Selection Committee. We are acting in an advisory role to the University's Department of Recreational Sports in selecting the new coach. All applications and resumes will go through the University, we will review them and make recommendations back to the University. We also will have a University representative on our committee.

I will also contact those of you who have replied with the details as to whom to contact as soon as I have the information.

Thanks to those of you who have replied.

Hi Jeremy,

Do you have an idea of the salary range under discussion? Your intial post says "Salary: By agreement." However, Michael Moore in his weekly Pacific Masters Update e-mail indicated the salary range is in the mid-30's. Can you be more specific than "By agreement?" Thanks.

I was wondering if this position is still available. I recently moved to the San Francisco bay area and am looking for a coaching job. I am a Level 2 ASCA certified coach and have been coaching for Sea Devils Swimming in Washington DC for the past 2 years as well as head coaching a successful summer league team since 2000. Please let me know whether or not this position is still available by emailing me at sbrownell@loyola.edu or calling me on my cell phone at (301) 873-4602. Thank you and I look foward to hearing from you

Kevin Williams who post daily practices on this site in the Workouts Forum took the SCAM job in '03 and has been doing a fine job there since.

Anyone moving to the Pacific LMSC and looking for coaching employment should register with PMS and start getting Mike Moore's Pacific Update.
Mike will post open coaching jobs in the LMSC and often post a position wanted ad. Good luck in your search.
