This will be my first Nationals meet, and two of the events I'd like to swim are back-to-back. How much rest is there generally between consecutive events at Nats (i.e., the 200 IM and the 100 free)? I'm F40-44 and would be swimming the 100 free qualified and am close in the 200 IM, if that makes a difference in heats. Thanks!

You will probably get at least an hour of rest, as you'll have the 39 and younger women IM's plus the men's IM's to rest before the women's free. It's a doable double.

Sounds great, thanks!

I was going to ask the same thing! :)

On both Fri and Sun I may double up and was a little worried!

Can't wait for May!

While past results don't predict future results...

You can at least take a look at 2009 SCY Nationals to give you a general idea of the timeline. The order of events may be different but you can subtract out the time for each event to give you some data:

That's very helpful, Jeff -- thanks!
