Is anyone going to this meet? Between returning to school and my upcoming wedding, I think this will be my only one before Nationals. Hope to see some of you there.

I know lots of folks that will be there. It should be a good sized meet and fast. I'll be there both days in the 35-39 Men's group.

I will only be there Saturday in the 30-34 age group. Swimming 50 free, 100 back, 200 free, and 50 breast. Looking forward to it. Good luck!

I should be there too. According to Kirk, I'll be the sausage woman in the Jaked. AND, I think I'll be somewhat rested for this meet. Yeah! :) Congrats on the upcoming wedding! What a wonderful time in your life.

I'll be there in my very first Masters meet and first competition in 30 years! I will be swimming breaststroke events in the women's 45-49 group, as well as the medley relay. See you there! :)

Up in Boston for New England SCY champs with my sis - bigger meet, faster pool. I wish they'd move St Pat's back to St Pat's weekend. I'm bummed I have to miss this meet again.

Thanks for the good wishes, BN. Welcome back, Elaine. Donna, you out there? You going to this one?

I had to change my plans on this one because it conflicts with one of my kids meets. Since I can swim in the senior age group and they need their coach I will be doing their meet. This one has 50's for seniors so I will get my 50's in just with the kids.

Marion "Tom" Dunlap is going to be at St. Pat's.

I will see you all at Nationals!

Sending in my entry today:

200 BR
100 BA (back-to-back)
50 BR
400 IM (back-to-back)
50 BA
100 BR
200 BA
100 IM (back-to-back)

Yes, I am hoping that this meet is double its usual size...It would be great to have 300 swimmers instead of the usual 150.

See y'all there. Please have the paramedics on stand-by.

That's about all I am willing to try right now...will be interesting to see how the body reacts to those...was debating the 100 IM but figured I will wait and see how this goes first...

You'll do fine. My first meet back after 15 years off was the Dynamo Pentahlon where you do a 50 of each stroke and a 100 IM. I was pretty gassed, but it will depend on your level of fitness and training of course.

Yeah I normally love doing the PTC Pentathlon...haven't been able to the last couple of years...

I was planning to swim, but I seem to be missing from the psych sheet. Does anyone know how to contact the meet organizer (Maria Thrash)? I haven't gotten a response by email yet.

All is well. I got re-seeded into some of the events I wanted.

I'm going to be there on Saturday, and it turns out none of my teammates will. Anyone who wants to introduce yourself to the guy in the TGM (= Team Greenville Masters) cap, please do so. I'd love to put some faces to forum names.

Great swims today, Steven. Mostly PBs as I recall! Good to see you again.

Yes, 3 PBs in 3 races for me. I was very happy with the swims. Your breaststroke races were very impressive.

Great job guys! It was a fast meet, especially in the last heat of each event and the pool was pretty rockin! They need some new lane lines for sure! I think everyone I talked to improved in something so I'm glad to see everyone make progress!

Hope to see you guys at Clemson.

I will definitely be at the Clemson meet, since it's in my backyard. (I work at Clemson.)

Hey guys! Darn, I forgot to look for the other forumites at the meet. I haven't posted on this thread, but I started a few others when I joined Masters, last month. This was my first Masters meet and it was a blast! It had been 31 years since I last competed. So, I was a bit nervous, on Saturday.:afraid: But, today was a bit better and I had a blast at the end in the relay. All in all, it was a great time! :D

Thanks to Dynamo for a great meet and all your hard work! :applaud:

All in all a very good meet. No PBs here (close) unless you count my first and last 400 IM:drown::cane::eeew::notworking::toohurt:
I may go the first day of Clemson to swim a couple of 50s...

I had a pretty decent meet. A PB in the 50 breast and a PB for Masters in the 100 back. Only swam Saturday (the guy with all the tattoos). Wish I had been more outgoing and tried to put faces to names from the forum. I hope you all had a good meet as well.

Hey Jacob! Thanks for posting on the other thread. I responded there before reading your post here. So, I see you swim breaststroke, too! I looked on the Psych sheet and figured you must be the "Jacob" with the :37 seed time for the 50. How low did you get it down to? How great you did your PB in your events! Now that I have seed times to go by, I hope to do the same in my next meet. Are you going to swim at the West Gwinnett Park SCY Developmental Meet, on April 25? I'm signing up today for it, so if you're there, I'll look for the "guy with all the tattoos".:D

Glad to see everyone had some great swims. Wish I could have join you guys but hard to coach and swim. Got stuck in the top heat with all the FAST 15-16's. Took 7th in the 100 Fly, had one personal best in the 50 Fly. Yes we actually got to do 50's this time.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at Nationals. I need a counter for the 1650, any volunteers?

Well I've never swam the 50 Breast before so it was pretty easy to get a PB :) I went a 35.43 which I was happy with since it is my worst stroke. I will be in Nova Scotia on my honeymoon on April 25 :bliss: I hope you have a good meet though and I will see you at Nationals.

Results are in the Meet Database so you can now check your "Event Ranking". I thought I was gonna be ranked better than I was....until they had the NE SCY Championships, that meet was FAST!!!
