View Full Version : Relays at SCY NATIONALS 2010 for swimmers on METR

I'm going to SCY NATIONALS in May with my team mate and we are looking to get on a relay. Is there anyone registered with the METR team that is looking to put a relay together?

Look up our times here:

She's mainly a free, back swimmer

I'll do free, back and fly.... my breast is really slow

I would be interested. Everyone I know from METR decided not to go. I would swim anything BUT breast. LMK Here is a link to my results.

My wife will also be swimming, but I think you are looking for a male.

Cool! We could set up a relay with 4 women and then set up a relay with 2 women and 2 men. There are some other metr swimmers going to the Spring Fling this weekend. I'll try to do a little networking and see if anyone is going to Nationals.

What events does your wife swim?

Where do you workout? I swim for Yonkers Masters.

Sounds like fun. Now I need to start working on my relay starts:) I was supposed to swim the meet this weekend but, I will be out of town, bummer. I swim on my own at LA Fitness in Long Island. I'm part of a workout group under the umbrella of Metro called CKNO. I use the term "workout group" loosely, because we have never actually worked out together. Due to peoples schedules, its more of a virtual team now.

My wife, (Melissa) swims sprint free and fly and also has phobias of breast.:)
I think she is only going to swim 50 free and 50 fly at Nationals.

Are you swimming the next meet at CW Post?

I think so... it's possible my friend might be there as well. I'll know by Monday whether or not I'll be there.

We are going to CW Post! I'll see you there and maybe we can find another fast guy for the relay. I found one person this weekend who was fast but he wasn't thinking of going to Nationals... I'm sure we'll find more people by May.

Sounds good. I coaxed my friend into swimming the Post meet with me, so we'll have a second male for sure. :)
