A question to the backstrokers: do most of you swim 2-peak or 3-peak backstroke? Are the ways that Krayzelburg, Lochte, Phelps, Peirsol etc. 2-peak or 3-peak? It's not very clear to me. Thanks.:)

Life-long backstroker (now breaststroker) and I've never heard of the terms. I have no idea what they mean or even what they could mean.

A quick google search showed a discussion of two-peak and 3-peak backstroke in Maglischo's "Swimming Fastest" book.

I use the (old-fashioned) 2-peak backstroke. I've tried the newer version, it just doesn't work for me.
