Wondering if there is enough interested swimmers in the Ogden area the would like to help get a sub group of Utah Masters started?

Five possible pools that the group could possibly use.

Ben Lomond Community
Ogden Community
Marshall White Center
Ogden Athletic Club
Weber University

I'm too far south to join your group.
I am having trouble finding any CURRENT resourses for Utah Masters Swimming. Any ideas???? Do you know any contact info to sign up with Utah Masters Swimming? Beside "Open Water" All of the sites I have found are outdated.
Thanks for any info.

I would be interested, I'm just up in Huntsville, I know I could get a couple of more friends to join also. Keep me posted in any news.

currently I don't know of any adult workout or masters groups in the Ogden area. I know that there are a few swimmers in the Ogden area that would love a group to swim with. I any of you start or find a group in the Ogden area please let me know. I will post it under the facilities section on our webpage. www.utahmasters.org

I spoke with the pool manager at Weber State the other day and she is very interested in getting a masters team going there. I hear the parking is an issue for Weber State, but it is a pool and swimmers need their water....

Call Weber State and say you are interested!!!

That's kind of funny that you mentioned the Weber Pool Manager, my 18 year old son is one of the head life guards at Weber pool and was just telling me that Weber was looking to get a Masters group going.

I am currently coaching at Ben Lomond High and knee deep in teenage swimmers at the moment. As soon as State Championships are over the first of Feburary I would be able to help coach an Ogden group.

I will arrange a meeting with Weber's pool manager and see what we can get going.
