Do you have a compelling story to tell about your participation in Nationals and/or Masters swimming in general? If your story will motivate and inspire others, I need to talk to you. Please email me a line or two about your story (susandawsoncook@yahoo.com (susandawsoncook@yahoo.com)) and let me know how I can contact you either before or during the meet. I will be arriving in Mesa Thursday afternoon.

I'm especially interested in stories about those of you who have overcome adversity (serious illness, physical disability, obesity, loss of a loved one, etc) to be here this year.

I am also very interested in stories where you are here at nationals (competing at any level) largely because you have received outstanding support, encouragement or coaching from someone special (it could be from a coach, friend, teammate or family member).

I'd also like to hear from at least one person who is planning to enjoy beautiful Arizona beyond the boundaries of the swimming pool.

I look forward to hearing from you. :bliss:

Thank you so much for sharing your inspiring stories with me! It was a very busy weekend, but I really enjoyed speaking with each and every one of you. Your stories buoyed me up so much, I swam 5 out of 6 personal best times in this meet! Thank you for sharing all your perseverance and energy!:bliss:

Keep your eyes peeled for the meet wrap-up, which will appear in the July/August issue of SWIMMER. If you are itching for more competition, watch for my preview of Summer nationals in the May/June issue!
