I am swiming the breast stroke in a wetsuit. My legs are coming to far out of the water because of the suits flotation. Can I correct this with ankle weights? Has any one tried this?

if you are wearing a wetsuit and compensating for buoyancy with weights its not swimming; its scuba diving.

Wear ankle weights :afraid:
Sorry, the idea is to increase floatation, with breast stroke the legs come in & up - that only makes the m float more.

I don't think I could do breastroke in a tight wet-suit! Are you pool swimming or open-water swimming?

Breaststroke in a pool with a wetsuit and leg weights? Now there's an event I think the Olympic committee needs to hear about.

What about a shorty wet suit?

That is a good idea! That would keep the legs lower with less floatation .
