Spoiler:don't read this if you want to watch the meet tomorrow without knowing the outcome.Kevin Cordes broke the US record in the 100 BR to finish first and move USA into a tie with Europe (the old US record would have finished 3rd).Then the US Mixed Medley broke the WR to give Team USA the victory by one point.

I'm watching it now. It's cool to se swimming on tv over all the usual stuff.
WOW! World records after the tech suit era are surprising, but good.

Over time to win the meet??? Very cool idea!

December 23rd, 2013, 11:49 PM
Yeah - very cool. And that was the only time I've seen men and women racing together at that level. Also gotta love a meet where you don't know who will win till the final hand touches the wall! (OK - second-to-last hand, technically - but, hey, they were only .2 sec apart.)

I like this format of a quick meet & it was on T V!!! How cool to see our sport on a sat. & Sun. Some W R as well. the sun. meet ended in a tie! A swim off the determine the winner was a 1st for me to see! Some of my non-swimming friends called me about it.
