Hi AtomicDonkey here,
About 4 weeks ago i posted my first thread here asking for help in learning the proper teqniiques and drills for a begginer. Since then i have recieved a few responses but continue to read all the posts in this forumn for new training ideas. My friend and i have trained 24 days since our first endevor into swimming and grow more and more addicted. I just wanted to say thank you to all of the people that have posted so many cool things. This is the most helpful forumn i have ever been a part of. To give you and example of how much you have helped ill tell you the improvements you have all given me. My first day started with 55 sec 25 meters 25 times equaling about 600 meter. Today i just finished a 1300 meter workout with 1:43 second 100 freestyles. I hve lost about 12 lbs and feel better than ever. I am still looking for suggestions on workouts. My usual workouts are as follows:

FREESTYLE
4X25m 45 sec intervals
2X50m 15 second break
1X75m 15 second break
1X100m 25 second break
BREASTROKE
4X25m 45 sec intervals
2X50m 15 second break
1X75m 15 second break
1X100m 25 second break
ALTERNATING BREASTSTROKE AND FREESTYLE
4X25m 45 sec intervals
2X50m 15 second break
1X75m 15 second break
1X100m 25 second break
SPRINTS
2X25m sprints freestyle

Please make any suggestions that will improve my workout. Once again i cant thank you all enough for the great advice you have been posting. Keep it up. Swim to live or live to swim?
