I will be in Kempten, Germany from Feb 19 to 28th. Can anyone recommend a pool/program or website I could search? I am used to swimming 13,000 SCY (approx 11500 meters) per week over 4 @ 1 hour sessions. Thanks/Dunca:applaud:

I'm not from Kempten but one day I might want to swim there, so why not do the research now? :)
There's one public pool listed. Here's a link to the opening hours: http://www.cambomare.de/05_Service/Oeffnungszeiten.php

I also found a swim team: http://www.tvk1856.de/schwimmen-fakten.html.
Maybe you should just send them an email or call.

I hope this helps. :)

they have master swimming 2x per week according to their website at the Cambomare

checking their website I just saw that one of my old swimmer friends coaches a group there. Let me try to get in touch with him and see if you have to contact anyone before showing up.

Great.... the Cambomare is 3k from my hotel and I emailed the team on Friday. Google translator is very nice. I see there is also a morning swim 4xweek. I will be watching if Britt03 has any future news for me. duncachen(sp?) to you both!

I was told you should get in touch with Dirk Hoffmann if you want to join Master practice. Currently waiting on his contact details.
And btw, thank you for posting this. After almost 8 years of no contact, I'm finally back in touch with my old swim buddy in Kempten :)

Here is Dirk's email: hofmann.dirk@t-online.de

Thanks everyone. I have completed my second practice in a fine pool. The swimmersguideDOTcom website worked for me.
