How many USA-S registered Masters swimmers have an interest or need in having their swims at the state meet "observed" so that they could be used for Illinois State meet (Sr. Champs) proof of times?

Is this for rankings or meet qualifying? I guess I could use it. Swims at Nationals will be faster though.

It would be for qualifying for USA-S meets.

It would cost $200 for us to have this meet an USA observed meet for IL. Our times at USMS Nationals are USA observed and count for USA meets such as US OPEN, Grand Prix and US Nationals. Mainly, IL requires us to have our times be at a USA sanctioned event for IL Senior State, and other IL USA meets.

If you read the USMS Nationals entry form you can fill out an OVC for your USMS National events.

Actually, I talked to Pam and that might not be the case. We would still have to obtain officials though.

I have contacted John Walker from USA Swimming. He is our (USMS) Liason. USMS National times should qualifiy for any USA meets. Not any other master meets unless you get the meet observed.
