What is a World class speed for freestyle swim ?

For the different distances up to say 100 meters. World record and world class.

Just want to see how far I'm off!

Not that I know anything about world-class speed myself, but you can find what you need here:

http://www.swimnews.com

Go to their "Rankings" section, and search by distance, gender, etc.

Thanks for that link!

I see womens #1 rank 50 meters is 24.82
I guess thats 24 minutes ect.. just kidding! I will have to take a stop watch for "laughs' to see how I do..(cheating with my fins!)

Gives me and maybe others a idea what fast is!

Something around 56 seconds is probably what you would consider "world class" in the women's 100 meter long course free. If you are swimming in a 25 yard pool, figure this converts to around 49 seconds.
