Are blogs limited to national members?

If so, where do non members go to post blogs?

If you are interested in joining U.S. Masters Swimming as a paid member:

1) go to: http://www.usms.org/reg/register.php

2) click the blue button that says "Join Now" (https://www.usms.org/reg/register.php?newMember=1&step=persInfo) under the "New Member" heading

Or, the direct link to that page is:
https://www.usms.org/reg/register.php?newMember=1&step=persInfo

Actually I was interested in where non members go to post blogs.

Since there is no option for this, I'll just voice my opinion that having this would be more inviting to new members.

As well as USMS-hosted blogs, there are blog platforms like Wordpress and Blogspot, which several forum members use - you'll see links to their blogs in their forum signatures.

You can join these discussion forums without being a member of USMS (exception: you can't see the Workouts sub-forums without being a USMS member). I'm Australian, and was not a member of USMS when I joined the forums - that's a separate (and free) process. I actually ended up joining USMS because I wanted access to the Workouts subforums!

I'm confused. If the goal is to get new members, how is it more inviting to let people post blogs without being members?
