View Full Version : Dry Land Programs

We are attempting to supplement the water workouts offered to our swimmers; sort of an "added value" to our program.

We have had a few talks by a sports trainer on nutrition, training cycles, & meet preparation, and have had some underwater taping/analysis. But this has been infrequent over that past 3 years.

Could anyone list suggestions for programs their teams actually run outside the regular water workout, and the success / participation level? We are considereing ideas that would be included in the swimmer's seasonal workout fee - not an adidtional charge. Clinics, dry land exercises, lectures, taping?

Has anyone used any USMS library tapes as group instructional tools for the team? Any suggestions on which ones, and the level of success?
