I live in Prescott, Arizona, where we only have a few 25 yard pools. I'm looking for recomendations for 50 meter pools in Phoenix area that offer lap swimming times (2:30-3:00 hours) for 10,000 and 5,000 meter postal swims?

We've likely passed the time when the pools in the Phoenix area will be long course, but maybe again around the end of the year holidays when the USA Swimming teams are going long course. I think your best bet to try to do a postal swim in an actual 50 meter pool will be to reach out to Paul Smith at Mesa Masters (https://www.teamunify.com/Home.jsp?team=amsmac) as they have periodically organized these for their teams. I'm not sure if Swim Devil Masters (http://swimdevils.com/) ever do postal efforts as a team, but they do have access to 'long course water' periodically throughout the year in both their ASU and Cactus Aquatic Center (Scottsdale) locations. The last bet might be Phoenix Swim Club Masters (https://www.teamunify.com/TabGeneric.jsp?_tabid_=158107&team=azbest).

I do know that both in the summer and around the end of the year, Cactus in Scottsdale (http://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/sports/aquatics/cactus-pool) will have some select days when the pool is setup long course for lap swimming. It's rare and, while good, can get a bit more crowded as there are limited long course lanes. If you are game for doing the swims in SCY, Cactus has great lap hours throughout the year and you can usually get a lane to yourself (maybe share with one other person).
