Well, I had my first day and it went well. Well, as good as expected. I was able to do 2 lengths non-stop (getting my heartrate up to about 125-135). Then I would need a break for about 45sec to a min and go again.

Amazing how high your heartrate gets with an easy swim pace. And, how tired you get from an easy swim pace LOL.

I forgot to mention.....I have never been so sore in my life! Mind you it has been 1 1/2 months since I did any type of exercise. Not sure howmy body will take 30 minutes on the elliptical glider tomorrow....not to mention my shoulder and leg workout.

Let's see if I live though that. :)

don't kill yourself-Get used to going first and then you will start to increase the lenght and effort of the workout.

I couldn't swim to the end of the pool when I first started and 6 months later I swam across the chesapeake bay.

Get into the habit of going first. Make it fun. Then its all easy from there.
