Hi, Nadine. I heard something from John Fitzpatrick about

A couple of possible meets at York in February and March
Another Evanston meet in February.
A meet at Shabonna Park in March.

Should I take your last post to mean that none of these meets will happen?

Sarah,
No one has contacted me about York.

Evanston changed their date from February to January.

These meets have been cancelled:
Shabbona Sharks/Flying Carp
Bartlett
Rockford

IF anyone wants to host a Masters meet in Illinois, they can contact me.

Are there Masters in Iowa that you could entice to come to Galesburg. The drive to Galesburg from here, while pretty is looonng. The kids swam up there for a YMCA meet once.

All meet entries are online.

I can't predict how many swimmers will attend a meet.

As you noticed there is only ONE meet in February.

You also an go to the other LMSC websites and see when they are hosting meets.

If you are interested, you need to contact me to get your sanction form, send me your entry form and fee.

Another chance to have fun. March 12-13.

Last year, Nadine turned us on to a swim meet close to the Chicago folks in Milwaukee. This year it is our team road trip. Wauwatosa High School is just west of downtown and only an hour and a half from Evanston. Not bad at all. Illinois Masters will be our team at the meet so that's fun too. And it's also a Saturday afternoon meet, leaving the late night for play and Sunday morning for sleep for a change! The more the merrier.
