I'm getting excited about nationals in Coral Springs.

I'm wondering: what are restaurants in the area not to miss? I am less interested in national chains than in the places that are special to the area.

Gold Coast Grill (seafood, steak, salads) at The Walk is a great choice, having lunch there today! For desert: next door is Kilwin's homemade chocolates.
Coral Springs has hundreds of restaurants and I am sure several that will be sponsoring the meet will have their menus in the goodie bag or at the pool.

You can find a guide and reviews to the local restuarants at:

That's the Sun-Sentinel restuarant review site. In the meantime, here are three resturants, at least two of which are worth a visit.
Your meet hosts.

Fort Lauderdale's palm-fronded Polynesian landmark. Fiery entertaiinment

Blue Moon Fish Co.

The western outpost of its Intracoastal-hugging sibling offers many of the same signature items at slightly lower pricing and includes creative salads. Try jerk rubbed shrimp, blackened pork tenderloin, lobster and shellfish pan roast and Chilean sea bass. Don't part without an ethereal soufflé.
