Boo Cancer!

Just pointing out that there is a fun swimming event in Lake Michigan July 22nd 2006, Swim Across America. It is a six person relay, each swimming one mile along the wall at Ohio Street Beach. It's fun and the Naperville Wave relay cheats and it doesn't even matter! This years race has a goal of raising $100,000 for cancer research at Loyola. There are always several Olympians on shore to meet and greet so bring a camera. The view from the beach is awesome.

I LOVE Swim Across America! It's always such a good time. The free massage table was fantastic last year and the cold beers on the rooftop of Lakeshore Athletic Club were the best. Besides all of that, it feels good to shake your fist at cancer.

Frequently, I've raise dmoney for this but never had the tiem to swim it. This year might be different . I'd like to swim the evetn as a solo.

For most companies that don't have regular jeans day, you basically pay money to be able to wear jeans, ie give $5 to wear jeans on Friday.
