Now, being in the Chicago area, I can barely stand Lake Michigan on some days in summer..... He swam for 1 hr in the cold water AFTER surviving a plane crash!

Can you believe the mishaps this guy has been through in the last few years?

In 2002, he became stranded while snowmobiling in the Wyoming and lost a toe. Then in 2004, he was struck by an automobile while riding a motorcycle.

Everyone please take note... they saved themselves by swimming backstroke!

What I can't figure is, what happened to the houseboat they were looking at? Didn't anyone see the plane go down?

Yeah, I saw the interview on CNN (or some similar station)... it's amazing that this kid is still on this Earth.

What an awesome athlete... had fun watching him at the Olympics.

I remember seeing him in the Olympics and he was such a great competitor. I guess this fellow has 9 Lives.
