I think we need a sellers thread on the forum that deals with products pertaining to swimming. If you go to the bottom of this UK forum you can see it at the bottom of the page. http://www.swimclub.co.uk/forum/index.php

This is just my speculation but the big difference George...is that the UK is way less litigious and payouts a fraction of what they are here (US). Liability for the USMS on a product advertised here is not worth the risk of losing in court...or even going to court. That's my view.

We get sellers threads often, and our fabulous team of administrators seem to squash them pretty quickly.

what's wrong with the USMS Sponsors Page (http://www.usms.org/merch/sponsors.php)?

i think that would open us all up to more spam.

I think we need a sellers thread on the forum that deals with products pertaining to swimming. We have one. It’s called Swimming Merchandise from our USMS Sponsors and it can be found at http://www.usms.org/merch/sponsors.php

To show our support of USMS corporate partners, we have decided to not allow unsolicited advertising on the discussion forum. However if you wish to post wanted and for sale items, try the swimclub.co site or there is always ebay and craigslist.

I tried to get on the page but it did not happen. I wanted to have my pool listed. I could not get past my first email to you Robert.

How can I submit to be on that page???

I could not get past my first email to you Robert. My apologies!

I had forwarded your request on to our National Partners Liaison (Mel Goldstein). I had assumed Mel or Todd Smith our USMS Executive Director would have gotten back to you about our partnership programs. Iíll see what happened to my request.

Not a chance. We value the commitment of our USMS Corporate Partners and want to protect their interest as the only allowed advertisers on the USMS web sites. Besides, I hate spam and spammers with a passion, as I'm sure many of our members do. I will never put up with spammers on our forums as long as I have some say in the matter. :dedhorse:
