Oh I like that set! Hope you don't mind if I plagarize it from you.
Missed the Jan 1st 2 hr work out, which was 14 x 500
Oh golly shucks! I bet you were despondent over that loss
nice 200 fly kick btw.
That is unbelievably fast, Ande! WTG.
Lift! I think my extended absence is really starting to have negative effects.
Kicking a distance like that so fast is incredible to me.
Congratulations on the 7 sec drop!
thank you leslie
I just walked in
threw on my suit and got in the water for my race
I found out after the race, Ross Davis said he grabbed the pipe under the block with a reverse grip
Nice swims, Ande, especially the 50 fly and 100 IM. Sorry about the 50 back. Racing with no warm up would suck and I had low grips as well.
Might do another one in late Nov / early Dec, haven't decided yet.
Here's the plug (again) for Ron Johnson -- https://www.clubassistant.com/club/m...1044&smid=4922
It was pretty tough but I didn't totally kill each 50 to hit an honest best average and on some I did 25 fast 25 easy,
I also did a double that day, came back at noon and focused on 25's in the 2nd practice
on 1:00 & 55 i did 25 fast 25 easy, then did 25's on 45 & 40
except for the last 10 where I did 10x50 FR on 40 and held 31's & 2's
An absolutely killer workout ... I can't imagine doing that many best average 50s ...
I'll take a look
A new meet in Fort Worth was posted a few days back:
Its a one day meet but a lot closer than Florida.
Ande, You should bring the Longhorn guys out to Tempe again for the Ron Johnson meet at ASU. The flyer's no out yet, but it should be November 23rd and 24th.
Orlando sounds fun with 25's on the menu.
thank you Leslie. 400 IM is an awful race. It just hurts. It doesn't hurt as bad when I swim it right
Think I took 2 or 3 breaths. I just tried to crank it and be aggressive
I would be thrilled to split that scy. Nice split Ande. Did you breathe?
Great job Ande! It's hard for me to imagine a more grueling event than 400 IM long course. Probably not worth it to do the SDKs, too much oxygen sucked away.
Gold. Way to go!
I'm happy I improved
& very impressed with how fast Paul is with such little training.
