    started out FR held 1:09, 10 & 11, 1:07 on last

    looks like 2013 south central SCY Zone champinships will be at UT in early April, the 1st time since 1999!

    On Monday night I stayed up past 1 am, 5 am came way too quick and I chose to sleep in & skip Tue 6:00 am practice, I even woke again at 6:08 & went back to sleep opting to not swim a partial practice but I did lift and still felt pretty tired Tuesday evening

    I sucked at this today, pool was warm, wasn't real into it, think I skipped 4 50's
    couldn't keep up with Jim & Keith, Jeff moved up, hated it, don't want to do long stuff in the diving well they keep it at a temp that keeps divers comfortable

    Went to bed late, slept late, didn't hear or get up with my alarm,
    going to bed earlier tonight &
    plan to get up at 5:30 tomorrow
    Planned to lift yesterday but needed to go straight home
    plan to lift today

    Exchanged a few emails with Susan Ingraham about a SCM meet she's hosting Sat Dec 1 & Sun Dec 2 at Palo Alto in San Antonio
    That's the one I'm training for now, though I might slip in another meet the week before Thanksgiving.


    since I arrived late yesterday, I came back for noon practice, my 1st fall double, on the 5 x 200 frees on 2:20 Keith said let's hold 2:10's
    I thought "yeah right."
    but I went 2:10, 2:12, 2:11, 2:10, 2:08
    which was a bit of a surprise

    Our schedule is weird, we're at UT this week then back to Mabel Davis, next week

    wanted to maximize my relay performance

    OK time faster than 26.14 from Nats,
    but wasn't 1/2 sec drop like my 50 bk
    didn't warm up enough, breathed too much
    didn't feel good

    felt fast and snappy

    think I was 27.48 last year

    kinda weird, my 50 br & Fr were slightly faster & my 50 BK & Fly were around 1/2 sec faster

    Zones are 4 or 5 days away, depending upon if I race on Friday or not and right now I'm leaning towards not. No 1500 or 400 IM for me on Friday. It's a harsh way to begin a meet. D don't fit into my born again sprinter program.

    I sent in my entry yesterday

    Lifted weights yesterday
    I'm getting stronger & curious to see what difference it will make in my sprint times.

    Th Fr Sa 5:30 - 7:00 am
    2012 TAGS meet at UT this weekend, was supposed to train at 5:30 today so I decided to sleep in

    Got fast friday tomorrow and plan to lift.
    Saturday I'm going to Dallas to see aerosmith
