Mixing it up this year

I really like my toys and will continue to use them. The mix will be both distance and sprints. My focus for this year is to maintain my 200 fly time.

  2. A Great Day ..... Finally

    The pool is fixed the water was 77 and my mouth and lungs say it was good quality!

    My legs are feeling really strong today the arms are alittle weak at the moment but still did well on my push set and sprint laps.

  3. Floating in the warm pool

    That was all I could do. The lap pool was closed and I had to swim around noodlers in the open area since the 3 lanes in that pool were in use. They don't swim more than 2 to a lane.

    Hopefully they will get the lap pool chemical problem corrected today.

  4. couldn't breath...not good

    The chemicals were so bad at the aquatic center that i noticed the cotton mouth before i finished the first 25.

    Decided to just kick.

  6. Seeing some strength and speed in my legs... Finally!

    The hard work is paying off, on one of my last kick sets I was right next to Cathy who normally can beat me at kicking free but today I beat her and not by a little, by a lot!

  12. Sore and may have pulled something but still swimming

    A muscle in my upper back/neck needs to be worked out badlly today. About mid way through practice I could feel it but I kept on pushing thru.

  13. Second day of meet and a great morning workout

    Did well Sunday too. Broke 30 in the 50 Free finally, the last two meets were dreadful but this was good. Had a strong 100 back and 100 Fly. Was quiet happy over all.

    Today should have been a recovery day but since I was feeling good I took advantage of it.

  14. A decent meet today

    Started off with a great 200 Fly today, I had not broken 3:15 in a long time but today I went 3:12.81. My 500 Free was better than last time but still not what I wanted to do 6:33.62.

    Overall a good start. Up for tomorrow I have 100 Back, 100 Fly and 50 Free. I am really looking forward to the 100 Fly!
