Mixing it up this year

I really like my toys and will continue to use them. The mix will be both distance and sprints. My focus for this year is to maintain my 200 fly time.

  1. A light day but still don't feel like I am recovering

    I have had more days off than I would normally take this fall and even with the easy workouts recovery is hard. Due to my back problems not swimming is not an option. I need that fly motion off my turns and when I swim to loosen me up. I guess I need to pull some of my old toys out. I have 4 days Sat-Tues to recover.

    10x100@1:45 free
    500 free kick moderate
    400 IM as fly drill/back pull/breast kick/free swim
    200 free right paddle on 4 kicks on the paddle hand
    200 free left paddle on 4 kicks on the paddle hand
    200 free w/snorkle as 50 kick/50 swim

    total 2500 yards

    I had more time today but didn't want to over do it since I will be doing an annual animal set this Monday.
