I love this set! I am recovering from shoulder surgery, but will throw this in the mix when I'm training fly again. Thanks for sharing!

I used fins on the UWs and on the swimming bits. I'll have to use fins to swim for awhile, I fear.

I always rest. Usually, when I do the 100 pace 50s, I do them odds = 100 pace @ 1:00 or so, evens = ez @ 2:00 or so. Today, I was resting more than that on the last 3-4. 100 pace 50s are hard, especially fly.

Yeah it seems odd that you wouldn't have more ... There were definitely a lot of very happy adult swimmers to have the extra 5 days outside with extended hours. Too bad it has to end!

Thanks Stewart. Was a fun little meet. I love having a meet or two where I just show up to swim a couple events.

Thanks Steve. I was very happy with the 50 free. Yeah, 3 feet can be treacherous for sure. I guess I could have tried to kick out on my side, but just didn't feel like possibly being aggravated after two good swims.

Thanks. The record really wasn't on my radar, so I was just very happy with the time. I am thinking about that meet next year. I swam there as a kid growing up. The usual suspects could interfere: summer vacations and my relative lack of interest in long course meters.

You're buddy Jack Groselle was at the meet.

Thanks. Going to swim the other two 50s -- 50 breast and 50 free -- to complete the drop dead LCM sprints. Depending on timing, I may do the 100 back. Depends how shallow the shallow end is ... and if there is enough rest.

Thanks. You too in MD. It is a hike, but not quite as bad as going to the DC area. Just want to get a couple more LCM times bc there are more opportunities for SCM items later.

Yes, even when short, they are exhausting if you're doing race pace work. If you're not used to long course, they are super tiring. I remember one of my first ones this year.
