exactly. some people in my lane weren't even making the interval, which also seemed useless

I remember swimming there years ago and wasn't thrilled with it. I recall it was also very crowded. Idk ... Pittsburgh is hard if you're not an am swimmer.

Glad to see that you're back swimming again!
The only sign was "no diving." Yes, it's very shallow. And the pool deck was soaked on the end that I wasn't flipping in. It's really a shame there just aren't many places to swim in Pittsburgh ...

They do a better job than the Y at keeping the temperature at something reasonable, but the chlorine level in the air was often messed up.
Agree, the chlorine levels are awful! Mine is 3+ feet at each end too. They just not understand what "Olympic" length is; some false advertising there.

Gotta keep the slow moving noodlers happy!

I'm easing in ... I probably won't swim on back to back days for awhile. I have been on the treadmill quite a bit, so I'm fairly fit. I miss my shooters too!

Thanks Kenny! I have flashes of determination ... but I am also a realist. Mostly, I'd just like to be able to get in the pool and see swim friends.

Sooo happy to see your post! It's about time we get to hear about your: HIT - long rest - blazing-fast 25s and blasto SDKs again.

Please tell me that was with fins and fly kick?? As far as I know my ribs are all intact and I consider a :46 to be really good for a DPS 50 br.
Thanks Karl. As you know, I'm a bit of a fin addict in healthy times. And I usually do breast-dolphin bc of my knees. I do not forsee swimming without fins in the near future. No paddles either. So yes, those DPS 50s were breast-dolphin with fins.
