Evening Swim LCM 6/7/10

Outside this evening for a swim. I worked out earlier in the day with weights for about 45 minutes and felt good. I had a muscle milk after the lifting rather than waiting all day and perhaps feeling too tired to swim.
Swim went well here is what I did.

Warm Up
Twice through.
200 Kick
200 Pull
200 Swim


10 x 50 BK 1:30 I held 1:10's for these and tried to focus on kicking right and breaking hate the lane line and I think the feeling is mutual!


10 x 100 2:00 I did these casually but tried to keep a good steady kick all the time. I went about 1:45 for the first 5 and tired into 1:52ish on the back end.


500 Kicking various I took a few seconds between 100's.


Only time for 100 EZ...would have liked more but pool closed.
3300 LCM in 90minutes.

    Ah... outdoor swim workouts! Fantastic! Do you have a pace clock that you can use or do you go off a wristwatch?

    Nice job at your meet this weekend, btw!

    They put the pace clock away last night so I had to use my watch. I'll have to talk to them about that...that said I can't see the clock from the far end anyhow...
