A comfort swimmer's guide to easy swimming

This weekend is our Elko High Altitude Invitational Meet. Since I'm an official I never get to swim this meet even though its the only meet I wouldn't have to travel for. But that's ok, its for the kids. I did manage to get in the water for about 45 minutes after the last event and here's what I did.

SCM dodging kids

Warm up
300 free and back
3 x 100/1:50 Build (ave 1:27 )
4 x 50/1:10 desc. (went 42->39)
4 x 25/40 Strong (around 17)

Kick set
4 x 100/3:00
Strong Efforts
(did these as 50 free w/board then 50 on back times were 2:10-15)

Swim
12 x 50/1:30 smooth
Work on Stroke Tempo while swimming Smooth
Fast & Tight Turns
(did 1-8 free at around 38, 9-12 back at around 45)

Cool down
100 easy

Total: 2000 meters
