    Question...you're yardage is quite low. Is that because you're tapering?

    That 50 back is just incredibly fast by the way. Nice job.

    Sick or secret taper Ande?


    I swam the 400IM at last weekend's meet. Did not get properly warmed up and brought my short suit by mistake. So I decided to "cruise" the effort and use it to warmup for my later events.
    Very surpised to swim my best time...
    That 1st 100 fly has to be smooth for me or the rest is just brutal recovery. But then you are a much better flyer than me!

    I have a feeling you'll pull a few surprises - good luck!

    After a sickness, you come back real strong. It's also nice being "pre-disastered" (remember The World According to Garp?) for Nationals. Your immune system is bolstered and you probably wont get sick for that!

    Where I exercise, there is a lady who gave me the best training advice that I have EVER gotten. She told me that it's okay to keep up my intensity, but avoid getting sick.

    I entered the 400 IM because I can cruise it and still break the record by a lot

    enterered many events and I may scratch a few.
    if I get itchy

    fr work it, try to be under 1:00
    we'll see if there are any surprises

    thanks, it would suck to get sick for Nats
    I'll be working some events more than others

    it's smart to avoid getting sick.
