Got to the pool and feww minutes later than normal. There was a large main group and they had started their sets, so I joined Keith . We shared a lane until he got out at 2800 yards.

Had a good workout and got on pace for my annual mileae goal. I keep debating whether it is positive or negative to have a annual goal. It is motivation to keep swimming. On the other hand, I tend to think about distance and wonder whether I would get more out of shorter, and perhaps more intense, workouts.
