...And it's a good thing because I only had time for a 45-minute workout today anyway. Here's what I did over the lunch hour:
1500 fr moderate on 26:00 (< 25:30)*
5 x 100 IM on 2:30 (desc. from 1:46 to 1:37)
2 x 100 free EZ
2200 SCY in just under 45:00.
*This was my warm-up and a little bit of aerobic conditioning... I think I lost track, so it may actually have been 1550, but I went with 1500 on GTD. Toward the end of this swim I was really starting to warm-up and feel a little looser/stronger, but I really didn't expect to be as fast after the weekend's hard work. This pace was really comfortable too; so I'm anxious to see how I do in the 1650 when I expect to be uncomfortable.
Tomorrow I think I'll focus on 100s and 50s at pace if I'm feeling good.
