Comments:
FGCU Aquatic Center closed today due to Commencement. Did not swim Thursday due stormy weather and I had the first floor of our house (about 2,200 sq ft of tile) cleaned by a professional floor service, so I had to be there most of the day. Did not swim Friday as my wife took the day off and I spent most of my time with her. We also took our daughter to her favorite restaurant to celebrate her being on the A Honor Roll all four quarters of the school year.

An example of life getting in the way and in the case of your daughter a good part about life getting in the way. What a great achievement you must be very proud. Congratulations.

Really nice set of 50s at the end of the workout. Are you sure you are not a sprinter in disguise?

Thanks, for some reason unlike her brother, while always a good student, she became more motivated as the academic year progressed and it was mostly all her effort, as my wife and I provided only occasional guidance and reminders. In her brother's defense, as a late bloomer he became motivated this year in 10th grade, and chooses to remain in the IB academic program for 11th and 12th grade.

I am not making any promises, but I believe that over time as I train and go to masters events including SCY, SCM and LCM meets, that I can do in each of the strokes; an ok 50, a good 100, a strong 200 (with enough of the right training), and then in FR a solid 500, 1000, etc.

I bet Frank just cruised those 50's at his mid distance pace
