I think I need to take a day off. Wait, I've been off work the past two days, but it doesn't seem to help. Maybe my diet needs to change a little more healthy or something. I may be dehydrated a little too...maybe less soda and more water/juice/Gatorade? Nah....that's not fun. But I'll think about it.

I just felt like blah today, and did a little...

Do you use any supplements? I used to think supplements were mumbo-jumbo but since I got back in the pool I have been taking them and I now swear by them. I take omega 3, a complex multi vitamin, vitamin C and Creatin. I also drink a ton of water which really helps with muscle recovery in combination with creatin. Despite still being tired I have seen a general improvement in my ability to recover and I definately have way less aches and pains related to my joints.

I take a daily vitamin, that's it. I know I don't drink enough water, and that's because soda tastes better. Plus my job is where most of the hard work comes from as well...not the pool workouts. They are more or less a stretchout swim, and if I'm feeling good afterward, I'll ramp it up and do something good. Tomorrow I have to work a 12 hour shift, starting 4 hours earlier (10:30am-11:00pm) Fun Fun!
