Today was a long aerobic day with little fast swimming. I am now training exclusively with the Junior National swimmers (the guys I am normally sharing a lane with anyways) because they are not tapering yet, while a majority of the club team is resting for a meet this weekend. I felt like crap the whole practice (speed wise). Every stroke felt labored and lethargic.
