New Year...New Goals

No swimming to report

I haven't swum since Saturday but wanted to post an update anyways. I joined the Sport & Health clubs on Monday and have already been to the gym several times to do spinning, running (it's just too cold for me to run outside now), yoga, weights, etc. I really enjoyed the yoga class and plan to make this a regular part of my workout routine. My decision to not swim this week is simply because my shoulder still hurts and I haven't gone to PT yet. I will set that up for the week after Thanksgiving.

We're headed to Michigan this weekend and there is a masters meet on Sunday. I signed up for the 100 & 200 back and 100 breast. Should be interesting! I'm not going to try to race, just going to swim through the races and be happy with any result.

I also registered for SCM zones at Rutgers...50, 100, 200 back, 100 breast, 100 IM. Again, I'm expecting nothing more than to have fun catching up with friends and watching them swim fast!

    Dang, you found us out......

    Lots of stuff goes on at W&L, some of which even involves swimming and training. Join us sometime - we usually have a quorum on MWFS, sometimes Tuesday or Thursday if someone feels guilty about missing some days and invites others to join in.

    LOL! Treadmill is good for intervals and pace work. Got in a GREAT 4 mile run yesterday. Tomorrow, back to the trails for a long run that I intend to use as my excuse for why my swim times are so slow on Sunday. HA HA! Just kidding of course!
