Monday AM solo swim @ Sendero Springs (25 yards)

I decided to up my distance this week. I usually get in 3500-4000 yards, did 5000 on Monday and 5200 today. I'm still getting over an ankle sprain so pulled a bit of this:

500 w/u swim
500 pull w/buoy, 75 moderate/25 fast
500 pull w/buoy + Agility paddles, 100 moderate/25 fast
500 swim, 225 moderate/25 fast
500 pull w/buoy, 100 moderate/25 fast
2 x 500 pull w/buoy + Catalyst paddles, 100 moderate/25 fast
500 swim, 100 moderate/25 fast
500 pull w/buoy, 100 moderate/25 fast
500 swim, 100 moderate/25 fast
200 w/d

(my watch got the last 500 and 200 mixed together)
just enough time between 500s for a quick swig of water, and any equipment changes



due to that ankle sprain, I didn't register for the Texas (or whatever USMS calls it) SCY zone meet this coming weekend. there's no way I can do block starts yet, and haven't done any breast...that always lags behind because of that whip kick.

still mulling over some o/w swims for the year. there's some interesting ones out there, including one in NYC in Sep that I might do.
I will probably swim the zone LCM meet in July; I reserved a hotel room at the same place I stayed last year. and I'll probably do the same events (1500, 400, 100 free, 100 breast, 50 back)
