Humping Right Through Wednesday

Tuesday: 3,000 or so with the NASTI'S at Forest Park. I felt sick to my stomach and had a headache. I barely made the intervals, I was glad when it was over and I was on my way home.
Wednesday: I sort of frittered today away and didn't accomplish much at all. My son was supposed to come down and do some outdoor/heavy type work for me; I waited around (reading a book), eventually daughter # 2 wanted me to run an errand with her. Rob finally called to let me know he was sick and couldn't work. It was now too late to swim at CHS. That's okay, I wasn't in the mood to swim anyway.
I ended up going out for a run around 7:45 p.m. It was cool with a lite misty sprinkle. I ran a delightful hour at an easy 8 minute pace....nirvana. I noticed on my Flog I only ran 1 time in June; I need to do something about that. No wonder I feel sort of burnt out on swimming.
I've also noticed running seems to loosen my tight and achy shoulder/neck. It's almost as good as a massage.
Blogging: I have a technical question. Is blogging supposed to be about yourself? If it's not then what is it supposed to be about.
I really like this blogging forum. In my daily life I never talk about swimming to anyone. I imagine most people I know wouldn't understand what I was talking about, and they definitely wouldn't care. Blogging on the USMS forum gives me the chance to "put out" or verbally express this small but important piece of my life. It gives me a chance to say the things I need to say, ask questions, and learn from other people who share the same interest/passion I have.
The forum thread that suggests using the word "I" too much on a blog signals self-indulgance. If that is the case someone please let me know and I will try to report on some other topic.
